For this conference battle between Aaron Glenn’s Jets (0-6) and Dave Canales’ Panthers (3-3), it will be the games, within the game, that will make all the difference.<\/p>\n

LB Jamien Sherwood vs. RB Rico Dowdle<\/p>\n

It’s not all on Sherwood and it’s not on just Dowdle… Chuba Hubbard is healthy for the Panthers’ backfield, too… but Dowdle has 389 yards rushing over the past two weeks. He’s on fire. Sherwood has to make sure the Jets defense is in the right spots to spot Dowdle… and tackles cannot be missed.<\/p>\n

WR Josh Reynolds vs. CB Jaycee Horn<\/p>\n

The No.1 receiver for the Jets, Garrett Wilson, is out for a few weeks with a knee injury. Reynolds needs to find some chemistry with quarterback Justin Fields. Opposing defenses can’t think the Green and White are one dimension on offense. The passing attack has to be established.<\/p>\n

OL Joe Tippmann vs. DL Derrick Brown<\/p>\n

Quietly, Brown is the fifth-best defensive tackle in the NFL according to Pro Football Focus<\/a>. His grade is an impressive 87.1.
