Sam Fox has been thinking about history and legacy as he prepares to open his latest concept \u2013 Society Swan \u2013 at Scottsdale Fashion Square.<\/p>\n

Standing outside of his new restaurant \u2013 described as \u201cpart timeless American brasserie, part French daydream\u201d \u2013 Fox reminisced with the Business Journal about the restaurants that used to be located on the south side of Fashion Square, facing Camelback Road.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis used to be the happy hour row. With Z\u2019Tejas, Kona Grill and PF Chang\u2019s, everyone used to come here for happy hour,\u201d Fox said. \u201cWe want to bring that back.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fox, the founder of Fox Restaurant Concepts<\/a>, designed the upstairs bar of Society Swan \u2014 as well as the menu \u2014 to accommodate a throng of happy hour guests, even at a price point lower than his other concepts.<\/p>\n
