President Donald Trump\u2019s<\/a> granddaughter, Kai Trump, gave a personal view of the president\u2019s time outside of the White House.<\/p>\n

In a recent video<\/a> posted on her YouTube channel, dubbed \u201c1 on 1 with Kai,\u201d the two discussed life and sports in a laid-back format at Trump National Golf Club in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve been playing golf together for years. It\u2019s something he\u2019s always loved, and it\u2019s become a way for us to spend time together,\u201d Kai, 18, said in the introduction of the over 1-hour-long video. \u201cOver the years, I\u2019ve learned a lot from being on the course with him. Not just about golf, but about life.\u201d<\/p>\n

The video opens with Trump and Kai, a University of Miami golf commit, vlogging from a presidential golf cart.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re going to have a little fun,\u201d Trump said. We\u2019ll play a best ball, and we\u2019ll see how we\u2019ll do. I think we\u2019ll do OK.\u201d<\/p>\n

It then cuts to a montage of both of their swings, with Trump, wearing a signature MAGA hat, later greeting and thanking Secret Service as they moved to another hole. Kai at one point appeared to reference the president\u2019s past, including two assassination attempts, to which Trump responded with a laugh: \u201cI had some close calls, that\u2019s true honey.\u201d<\/p>\n

The video shows Kai occasionally quizzing Trump throughout their round, including to name his favorite golfer of all time. He immediately replied with Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus and Gary Player.<\/p>\n

She also asked how Barron, the president\u2019s youngest son, is doing in college at New York University.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s doing good. He\u2019s a good boy,\u201d Trump said. \u201cHe loves you. He said \u2018Say hello to Kai dad.\u2019 I said, \u2018Barron, why don\u2019t you come out and watch?\u2019 He\u2019s so cute.\u201d<\/p>\n

The best advice Trump would give to someone is \u201cto love what you do.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOtherwise, you\u2019re not going to do it well,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n

At one point, Kai also asked Trump, \u201cIs there a dream that you\u2019re still trying to chase? Or have you reached all your dreams?\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump appeared to be caught off guard, joking: \u201cYou are asking questions like you\u2019re a television company. I thought I was just going to come out and play a round of golf with you… You\u2019re asking questions like I\u2019m on television.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cNo, look. You become president. That\u2019s a dream, right?\u201d Trump said. \u201cNow you dream that you want to be a great president.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kai replied, \u201cI think you\u2019re doing a pretty good job.\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked about his time in the White House so far, Trump said he solved seven wars \u2014 a claim he has repeated, but has been debunked<\/a>. Trump recently added the ceasefire<\/a> with Israel and Hamas to the list, making it eight.<\/p>\n

\u201cHopefully, we get Putin and Zelenskyy to stop killing everybody,\u201d Trump said of the Russia-Ukraine war, before adding: \u201cAnd it\u2019s been very good. Economy\u2019s been great.\u201d<\/p>\n

The final team score, according to Kai, was negative two.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s a great player, this one,\u201d Trump said at the end.<\/p>\n
