So, did Diggs tell Jones what happened to cause the concussion?<\/p>\n

“Oh he said what happened,” Jones said. “But again, and I’m not saying that didn’t happen, but a lot of times you’re not the best viewer of what happened to you.”<\/p>\n

Jones did not reveal to reporters what the reasoning Diggs gave him was, but did say that the “bottom line is that I do expect him back,” and that he’s not expecting Diggs to be out much longer.<\/p>\n

After the game, Schottenheimer was asked whether his intention was for Diggs to be a part of the team going forward whenever he’s cleared to return.<\/p>\n

“Yeah, yeah,” Schottenheimer said. “I’m a Trevon fan. I’m excited to get him back, and hopefully it won’t be too long.”<\/p>\n

In order for Diggs to return, he’ll need to clear the NFL’s concussion protocol.
