\n\tTravis Kelce<\/a> is stepping into the acting world and recently recalled a predicament he was put in while guest-hosting Saturday Night Live<\/a> in 2023.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Kansas City Chiefs star admitted that the table reading for the NBC late-night sketch show was the \u201chardest\u201d part of doing that show because he \u201ccan\u2019t really read that well.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe writers\u2019 rooms were fun because you\u2019re just getting pitched ideas,\u201d Kelce said on Bussin\u2019 with the Boys<\/a> podcast. \u201cThe table reading, for a guy that can\u2019t really read that well, it was kind of a fucked situation.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tHe continued, \u201cI felt like I was just trying to get through the reading instead of actually acting it out and giving it a voice and giving it a character and things like that. I was just focused on, \u2018Don\u2019t fucking skip this line.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe Super Bowl champion noted that \u201cthe table read was the hardest fucking part.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tElsewhere in the interview, Kelce said that doing the comedy came easy for him saying, \u201cThe silly stuff, the funny stuff, the comedy, I just feel so much more comfortable.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThere was still a sense of like, \u2018I need to be a professional here,’\u201d he added. \u201cI want to take advantage of this, but I want to have fun doing it, but I don\u2019t want to look like a loser doing this. I want to make them respect my approach and how I\u2019m like taking it serious. But it was just a fun roller coaster, man.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDuring his SNL<\/a> guest-hosting debut, Kelce poked fun at himself and his reality show past<\/a> during the show\u2019s monologue. Kelce\u2019s brother Jason also made a cameo<\/a> during one of the sketches. The NFL star would make a surprise cameo later on that same year<\/a> in an NFL parody over their excessive coverage of Taylor Swift attending the Chiefs\u2019 games.<\/p>\n
