PHOENIX (AZFamily)<\/b> \u2014 A man was killed overnight after he was struck by a vehicle in north Phoenix. <\/p>\n

First responders were called to the area of 27th Avenue and Northern Avenue<\/a> around 8:40 p.m. on Sunday for the pedestrian-involved crash.<\/p>\n

Police officers arrived at the scene and found a man with serious injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died. His identity has not yet been provided. <\/p>\n

The vehicle involved in the crash left the scene before police arrived. Phoenix PD has not yet provided any suspect vehicle information, and it\u2019s unclear what led to this crash.<\/p>\n

Detectives responded to investigate overnight, but the area is now fully reopened. <\/p>\n
