JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 A man was acquitted of all charges in connection with a deadly shooting at a downtown Jacksonville hotel in 2021<\/a>, according to a release sent Monday from his attoneys.<\/p>\n

Cory Hall<\/a>, who was 29 years old at the time of the incident, was charged with second-degree murder and second-degree attempted murder. He was found not guilty of those charges on Friday.<\/p>\n

The double shooting happened inside a restrooom at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront on Sept. 4, 2021.<\/p>\n

One victim was able to get away and was found on the ground about a block away at the intersection of Bay and Market streets. Both men were taken to the hospital, where a 19-year-old Ed White High School<\/a> graduate died.<\/p>\n
