If the answer is yes, Clay County wants to hear your thoughts on Monday evening.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Leaders are launching the Safe Streets for All (SS4A) project, aiming to make roads safer across the area, and will be holding a public meeting to hear the public\u2019s input.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The county said the public\u2019s voice is essential in shaping this plan and ensuring that the community benefits from safer, more accessible streets.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The Safe Streets for All project, which is part of a national program supported by the US Department of Transportation, has three goals:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 kDvXdO font_openSans articleList\">\n<li class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__StackBase-sc-1fnzlkn-7 ecGWWE iQviKm\">\n<p>Identify high-risk roadways and intersections<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__StackBase-sc-1fnzlkn-7 ecGWWE iQviKm\">\n<p>Recommend safety improvements for pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__StackBase-sc-1fnzlkn-7 ecGWWE iQviKm\">\n<p>Prioritize infrastructure and policy solutions that save lives<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">Clay County residents can also fill out an online survey to share their thoughts. Take an online survey to tell leaders what needs to be done<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">News4JAX spoke with two walkers in Clay County who said they notice some safety concerns in their neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">\u201cMy neighborhood at Eagle Harbor, sometimes there are speeders in the 20 mph zone, they\u2019re definitely going over that.
