The first batch of reunion concerts sold out quickly. For the new dates, fans have until Thursday at 9 p.m. Arizona time to sign up for the artist presale<\/a>, which begins next Monday (Oct. 27).<\/p>\n If any tickets remain after the presales, they will go on sale to the general public on Oct. 31 through Ticketmaster<\/a>.<\/p>\n When is the last time Rush went on tour?<\/p>\n Rush hasn\u2019t toured in over 10 years, and it\u2019s been nearly six years since Neil Peart, the band\u2019s legendary drummer, died from brain cancer at age 67.<\/p>\n Lee and Lifeson tabbed Anika Nilles, a German composer and producer who previously toured with Jeff Beck, to handle drumming duties for the 2026 shows.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are blown away by the response to the announcement we made a few weeks ago that we\u2019re going back on tour,\u201d Lee said in a video<\/a> Monday.<\/p>\n Rush developed a devoted fan base with its complex musical compositions and thought-provoking lyrics.
