{"id":319495,"date":"2025-10-20T21:17:19","date_gmt":"2025-10-20T21:17:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/319495\/"},"modified":"2025-10-20T21:17:19","modified_gmt":"2025-10-20T21:17:19","slug":"leaked-young-republican-groupchat-starts-debate-over-antisemitism-on-the-right","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/319495\/","title":{"rendered":"Leaked Young Republican groupchat starts debate over antisemitism on the right"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Just how serious of an antisemitism problem does the American right have \u2014 and what, if anything, should they do about it?<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">For well over a year, some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/diaspora\/article-869858\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">conservative elites<\/a> have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.city-journal.org\/article\/conservatives-trump-anti-semitism-conspiracism-racialism\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">quietly worried<\/a> about the trends they were seeing among influencers and young rightists who seem increasingly enamored of conspiracy theories involving Jews \u2014 the latest of which involves the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/us-news\/2025\/sep\/24\/charlie-kirk-conspiracies-rightwing-podcasters\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">death of Charlie Kirk<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Then last week, Politico reported on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2025\/10\/14\/private-chat-among-young-gop-club-members-00592146\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">group chats of Young Republican leaders<\/a>, in which participants called an internal rival a \u201cfat stinky Jew\u201d and made detailed jokes about how they\u2019d send other internal rivals \u201cto the gas chamber.\u201d In response to a claim that one subgroup was pledging to vote for \u201cthe most right wing person,\u201d one participant wrote back: \u201cGreat. I love Hitler.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">The group chat comments kick-started an impassioned, days-long public debate among right-wingers. The debate wasn\u2019t really about the comments themselves, but their seeming confirmation of a trend that had long been whispered about \u2014 the increasing normalization of blatant bigotry, especially antisemitism \u2014 among the young right. \u201cThe group chat expos\u00e9,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ConceptualJames\/status\/1978477971699568852\" rel=\"nofollow\">conservative activist James Lindsay posted on X<\/a>, \u201cis the tip of a very nasty iceberg.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Critics argued that leading right-wing figures had become too willing to look the other way about antisemitic rhetoric, beliefs, and \u201cjoking-or-am-I?\u201d Nazi sympathy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">\u201cIf you\u2019re not calling out the bad actors you\u2019re effectively covering for them,\u201d Seth Dillon, founder of the conservative satire site the Babylon Bee <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SethDillon\/status\/1978660798252605569\" rel=\"nofollow\">posted on X<\/a>. He <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SethDillon\/status\/1978661713625993409\" rel=\"nofollow\">added<\/a>: \u201cEveryone thinks I\u2019m talking about the leaked chat. This conversation is much, much bigger than the leaked chat.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Others instead reacted by closing ranks and denying any problem. Vice President JD Vance said he refused to \u201cjoin the pearl clutching\u201d over a \u201ccollege group chat,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mediaite.com\/media\/news\/jd-vance-tells-critics-of-30-year-old-young-boys-in-racist-chat-to-grow-up\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">inaccurately<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/BulwarkOnline\/status\/1978515991714799876\" rel=\"nofollow\">calling<\/a> the participants \u201ckids\u201d and \u201cyoung boys.\u201d This matches Vance\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vox.com\/politics\/399984\/online-right-musk-vance-elez-antiwoke\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">successful push to rehire<\/a> a DOGE staffer briefly fired for posting about things such as \u201cnormalize Indian hate.\u201d To Vance, what these people say is irrelevant \u2014 what matters is that they\u2019re part of his team.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Commentator Matt Walsh <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MattWalshBlog\/status\/1978253150671843354\" rel=\"nofollow\">agreed<\/a>, saying, \u201cThe Right doesn\u2019t stick together. That\u2019s our biggest problem by far. Conservatives are quick to denounce each other, jump on dogpiles, disavow, attack their allies.\u201d What was truly important, he said, was to remain united against the left.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">But united <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/proteinwisdom\/status\/1979556957162967257\" rel=\"nofollow\">with whom<\/a>, exactly? Is anyone who hates the left welcome on the modern right \u2014 even if they also hate Jews? Or should a line be drawn against extremists \u2014 and, if so, how and where exactly should it be drawn?<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">\u201cWhat a lot of people are finally coming around to understanding,\u201d conservative commentator <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/davereaboi\/status\/1979373741671924149\" rel=\"nofollow\">Dave Reaboi wrote<\/a>, \u201cis most of the Right\u2019s loudest voices have no problem at all with Nazis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Antisemitism has long been a major presence on the fever swamps of the young right \u2014 for instance, in message boards like 4chan. But it burst into public view at the infamous <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/news\/acts-of-faith\/wp\/2017\/08\/14\/jews-will-not-replace-us-why-white-supremacists-go-after-jews\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Charlottesville rally of 2017<\/a>, where young white supremacists chanted \u201cJews will not replace us.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Such virulent rhetoric has been considered off-limits for the mainstream GOP and much of the right \u2014 for instance, in 2023, the antisemitic influencer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/politics-news\/white-nationalist-nick-fuentes-removed-ultra-conservative-cpac-event-c-rcna73311\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Nick Fuentes was banned<\/a> from the Conservative Political Action Conference.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">But this year, several prominent figures on the right have offered ominous warnings about the trends they\u2019re seeing among the young right, including the GOP staffer class specifically.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">In an early September article titled \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.city-journal.org\/article\/conservatives-trump-anti-semitism-conspiracism-racialism\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Conservative Movement at a Crossroads<\/a>,\u201d right-wing activist <a href=\"https:\/\/podcasts.apple.com\/us\/podcast\/trumps-chief-culture-warrior\/id1346207297?i=1000725937911\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Christopher Rufo<\/a> wrote that three once-fringe ideas \u2014 \u201cracialism, anti-Semitism, and conspiracism\u201d \u2014 now \u201cappear to be entering some corners of mainstream conservatism.\u201d Young GOP staffers, Rufo continued, had told him that all three \u201chave gained a foothold among their Gen Z colleagues in Washington.\u201d Others on the right have <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/diaspora\/article-869858\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">made<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefp.com\/p\/against-the-vandals\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">similar<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/SethDillon\/status\/1978661713625993409\" rel=\"nofollow\">remarks<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Part of this is because a culture developed among young right-wingers in which saying extreme and offensive things makes you cool.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Earlier this year, the right-leaning commentator Richard Hanania dubbed this the \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.richardhanania.com\/p\/the-based-ritual\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Based Ritual<\/a>,\u201d writing an imagined dialogue in which young MAGA staffers in Washington met at a bar and competed to say the most outrageous things about race, gender, and other topics. The dialogue was fictional, but Hanania \u2014 who has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huffpost.com\/entry\/richard-hanania-white-supremacist-pseudonym-richard-hoste_n_64c93928e4b021e2f295e817\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">his own history<\/a> of extreme racist comments, but has moderated his rhetoric and persona recently \u2014 wrote that, in his experience, \u201cIt actually is this bad.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Hanania\u2019s article seemed to perfectly anticipate the tone of the leaked group chat (except that it was significantly more highbrow). Bigotry, rape, slavery, white supremacist signifiers, Hitler \u2014 these were no longer taboos that all decent people should deplore, they were funny things to \u201cjoke\u201d about. Or are they jokes?<\/p>\n<p>How do you solve a problem like right-wing influencers pushing conspiracy theories?<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">There are several explanations for this recent trend. Young right-wingers are reacting against what they view as \u201cwoke\u201d censoriousness, and Trump has helped make the GOP a welcoming place for right-wingers who love to flout taboos about race and identity \u2013 especially so this year, with Vance making clear he\u2019ll back you if your private bigoted comments become public.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">But another explanation <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thefp.com\/p\/the-antisemitic-influencer-problem\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">singled out by Rufo<\/a> and others is that rhetoric like this is no longer limited to anonymous message boards or private discussions \u2014 it\u2019s been increasingly mainstreamed by a certain crop of right-wing influencers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Some, like Fuentes and some figures <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jpost.com\/diaspora\/antisemitism\/article-870743\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">associated with the manosphere<\/a>, are indisputably antisemitic, in the sense of saying outright that Jews and Jewish influence are bad and that Hitler is maybe not so bad. Fuentes had long been banned from most major social media platforms, but Elon Musk\u2019s X <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2024\/05\/03\/elon-musk-nick-fuentes-x-account\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reinstated his account<\/a> last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">And lately, at least, Fuentes\u2019s reach has been rising. On the far-right video platform Rumble, Fuentes\u2019s videos and livestreams \u2014 with titles like \u201cEXPOSING the Jewish Control Matrix,\u201d \u201cThe Definitive Approach to the \u2018Jewish Question\u2019,\u201d \u201cWhen will the scourge of Black MURDERERS end?,\u201d and \u201cIt\u2019s time for White People to UNITE\u201d \u2014now regularly get hundreds of thousands of views, far above what they got last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">But there are also figures, such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/videos\/media\/2023\/11\/18\/antisemitism-right-wing-media-darcy-dnt-lead-vpx.cnn\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tucker Carlson<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2024\/03\/22\/media\/candace-owen-out-ben-shapiro-daily-wire-anti-semitism\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Candace Owens<\/a>, whose commentary is not as far-out as Fuentes\u2019s, but who have increasingly focused on criticism of Israel and promoted theories about the Jewish state\u2019s power over US policymakers \u2014 and the world \u2014 that their critics consider patently antisemitic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Carlson and Owens each had a falling out with a more mainstream right institution \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/media\/2023\/oct\/31\/tucker-carlson-fox-news-book-brian-stelter\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Carlson was fired<\/a> from Fox News in 2023, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/media\/2024\/mar\/22\/candace-owens-leaves-daily-wire\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Owens<\/a> parted ways with Ben Shapiro\u2019s publication, the Daily Wire, in 2024 \u2014 and both became independent influencers who, out of necessity, became more keenly attuned to what their audiences wanted. What they both realized, it seems, is that there is an audience for this kind of material.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">\u201cThe Internet rewards scandal, shock, and virality, and conspiracy theories enjoy burgeoning market demand,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/christopherrufo.com\/p\/the-anti-semitic-influencer-problem\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Rufo wrote in March<\/a>. \u201cCandace Owens has never been more popular, turning each outrage and accusation into new views, followers, subscribers, and revenues.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Charlie Kirk conspiracy theory mess<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">The killing last month of the conserative podcaster, organizer, and influencer Charlie Kirk has become a particular flashpoint in this divide on the right.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Though all known evidence suggests Kirk was killed by a lone young man without any known ties to left groups, many leading right-wingers \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/realchrisrufo\/status\/1965866248341987579\" rel=\"nofollow\">including Rufo<\/a> \u2014 quickly decided to blame his killing on the \u201cradical left\u201d generally, using this as a pretext to demand the Trump administration crack down on left-wing groups.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Inconveniently for their narrative, however, many leading right-wing influencers arrived at another theory: Maybe the Jews did it because they feared Kirk was on the verge of breaking with Israel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">To be clear: The idea that anyone other than Tyler Robinson was involved in Kirk\u2019s killing lacks any evidence whatsoever, and is a classic conspiracy theory.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">But there was, in fact, a complicated backstory about where Kirk was headed on the issue of Israel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Kirk had long been a staunchly pro-Israel conservative, and had earned the enmity of Fuentes and his \u201cgroyper\u201d followers as a result. But more recently, as the Gaza war stretched on, Kirk recognized that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/education\/2025\/06\/30\/young-republicans-are-fueling-gops-generational-divide-israel\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">right-wing base<\/a> was increasingly divided over Israel. He saw his role as trying to keep the right\u2019s coalition together.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Carlson became a particular flashpoint. As Kirk <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c-span.org\/program\/public-affairs-event\/tucker-carlson-speaks-at-turning-point-usa-summit\/662451\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">continued to feature Carlson<\/a> at events for his group Turning Point USA, he faced criticism and pressure from Republicans who believed Carlson had long crossed the line into antisemitism. And he became increasingly annoyed at this.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">\u201cJust lost another huge Jewish donor,\u201d Kirk privately texted allies <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/news\/article-15171321\/Charlie-Kirk-bullying-Jewish-Israel-donors.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">in early September<\/a>. \u201c$2 million a year because we won\u2019t cancel Tucker.\u201d He added: \u201cJewish donors play into all the stereotypes. I cannot and will not be bullied like this. Leaving me no choice but to leave the pro Israel cause.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Just days later, Kirk was shot dead. And among the Israel-critical right, the suspicion soon spread that Kirk was killed by supporters of Israel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">At Kirk\u2019s memorial service, Carlson <a href=\"https:\/\/www.msnbc.com\/opinion\/msnbc-opinion\/tucker-carlson-charlie-kirk-eulogy-antisemitism-maga-rcna233067\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">compared Kirk to Jesus<\/a>, who he said was killed due to \u201ca bunch of guys sitting around eating hummus thinking about, \u2018What do we do about this guy telling the truth about us? We must make him stop talking!\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Owens has devoted her podcast to supposedly trying to suss out the truth <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/us-news\/2025\/sep\/24\/charlie-kirk-conspiracies-rightwing-podcasters\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">about Kirk\u2019s killing<\/a>, exploring all manner of theories and supposed inconsistencies in authorities\u2019 story. (Kirk\u2019s texts about \u201cJewish donors\u201d were leaked on her podcast, and Turning Points USA <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=6VzyGCRB4B8\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">confirmed their authenticity<\/a>.)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShould we ever police our own?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">All this was already simmering before the leaked group chat brought this topic to a boil. But those on the right who view these trends as a significant problem have been at a loss concerning what to do about it.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">On a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=tR806Neqtzo\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Daily Wire streaming show<\/a> last week, Shapiro\u2019s viewpoint that there is a growing problem on the right was pitted directly against Walsh\u2019s view that the main focus should still be the left.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">\u201dI think that there are things that get said on the right that are really, really, really ugly and pretending those away doesn\u2019t make them go away,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=tR806Neqtzo\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Shapiro said<\/a>. \u201cI think that they\u2019re rising,\u201d he continued. \u201cTo pretend that it has not infiltrated a lot of very important spaces, I think, is sort of whistling past the graveyard.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">\u201cTucker is a fraught topic for a lot of people, myself included,\u201d Shapiro went on. But he proposed one potential litmus test: what if anyone \u201cwho won\u2019t just buy into the basic factual idea\u201d that Kirk was murdered by Tyler Robinson \u2014 who he called \u201ca gay man who is a trans furry lover\u201d \u2014 does not deserve \u201ca leadership position\u201d in the conservative movement?<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1agbrixi lg8ac51 lg8ac50 xkp0cg1\">Walsh wouldn\u2019t bite. He made clear he didn\u2019t believe in conspiracy theories about Kirk\u2019s death, but: \u201cDoes that mean that anyone who feels differently should be drummed out of the movement?
