John Stamos opened up about supporting Lori Loughlin amid her separation from Mossimo Giannulli during the latest episode of the Good Guys podcast<\/p>\n<\/li>\n
Stamos slammed Giannulli for being “a terrible narcissist” who he never plans to speak to again<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

John Stamos<\/a> will be there for Lori Loughlin<\/a> through thick and thin.<\/p>\n The actor, 62, did not hold back when discussing his former costar\u2019s soon-to-be ex-husband Mossimo Giannulli<\/a> during an appearance on the the Good Guys podcast<\/a> Monday, Oct. 20. Reflecting on his longtime friendship with Loughlin, 61 \u2014 who played Aunt Becky, the lover of his Uncle Jesse, on Full House in the \u201880s and \u201890s \u2014 Stamos praised her for being \u201ca saint.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI’m just heartbroken for her right now,\u201d he admitted of her recent split from the clothing designer after 28 years of marriage<\/a>. \u201cShe\u2019s just devastated. For a girl who has lived her life really well, a good person, a good mother, a good wife \u2014 I know all this for a fact \u2014 to be thrown into now this separation and, you know, exploding, blowing up her family this way,\u201d Stamos said. \u201cI just hate to see her go through this. I really do.\u201d<\/p>\n ABC Photo Archives\/Disney General Entertainment Content via Getty <\/p>\n John Stamos and Lori Loughlin on ‘Full House’<\/p>\n Stamos noted that he has \u201creally tried to be there for her during this time, and also with the college scandal,<\/a>\u201d referring to Loughlin and Giannulli pleading guilty<\/a> in 2020 after they paid $500,000 to get their two daughters, Olivia Jade, 26, and Isabella, 27<\/a>, into the University of Southern California as fake crew recruits.<\/p>\n Shortly after a press conference of the federal investigation came out, Stamos said he texted the When Hope Calls actress, who was unaware that it was airing on \u201cevery channel.\u201d That was the last time he \u201cheard from her for a while.\u201d<\/p>\n In May 2020, Loughlin and Giannulli pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud. Loughlin was eventually sentenced to two months in federal prison<\/a>, which she completed in December 2020, and Giannulli received a five-month sentence<\/a>.<\/p>\n Stamos explained that he has been there to support his longtime friend through it all, and he hasn\u2019t held back his opinions on the role Giannulli has played in the challenges Loughlin has experienced.<\/p>\n Donato Sardella\/Getty<\/p>\n Mossimo Giannulli and Lori Loughlin<\/p>\n \u201cI said, \u2018Look, all the negativity or hard hardships that you’ve been through in your life is connected to this guy,\u2019 \u201d Stamos admitted telling Loughlin of Giannulli. \u201cWhatever he did to her, it busted her up to the core. She put up with a lot over the years of this guy. And again, I’m not going to get into the relationship. It’s not my business. I mean, I know a lot, and I was by her side through a lot of it. She is an angel, and she always made things better. She cleaned everything up.
