Dave McCaskill, the fan ejected for interference in the Arizona Diamondbacks\u2019 win over the San Francisco Giants, has been banned<\/a> from Chase Field for the rest of 2025.<\/p>\n

Arizona adds McCaskill has the potential to return next season.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis particular fan has been involved in multiple offenses at Chase Field,\u201d the D-backs said in a statement. \u201cConsequently, we have terminated his Advantage Member account and he is prohibited from returning to Chase Field for the remainder of 2025. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis fan will have the opportunity to return to Chase Field in 2026 so long as he meets certain terms and abides by our Fan Code of Conduct.\u201d<\/p>\n

News of the McCaskill\u2019s ban comes after he was ejected<\/a> in the eighth inning after interfering with a play in left field.<\/p>\n

As D-backs outfielder Tim Tawa reached out to snag a deep shot by Christian Koss, McCaskill stretched out and caught the ball.<\/p>\n

After initially ruling it an out, the call was overturned to a ground-rule double following a successful challenge.<\/p>\n

Not long after the incident, videos of McCaskill interfering with other plays began circulating.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you look there\u2019s been some other videos, I have been ejected (from my seat) three times officially,\u201d McCaskill told Arizona Sports\u2019 Bickley & Marotta on Tuesday. \u201cTwo of those were so close to the line just like last night.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you watch the video, I catch the ball and my glove comes down. The angle of the camera, it wasn\u2019t the best angle, but that\u2019s my defense. But I apologize to the D-backs. \u2026 I would never interfere. Alek Thomas is my favorite player.\u201d<\/p>\n

McCaskill added he\u2019s been reviewed \u201cnine or 10\u201d times<\/a> and was hoping the team would allow him back for Tuesday\u2019s game against the Giants.<\/p>\n
