Dr. Phil blasted\u00a0far-left Rep.\u00a0Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., on Monday for comments she made recently about the United States becoming one of\u00a0the \u201cworst countries\u201d in the world.<\/p>\n

\u201cHere\u2019s the thing: she has the right to say what she\u2019s saying culturally, psychologically, I think it\u2019s disgusting, but does she have the right to say it? Yeah, she does, just like I have the right to say, \u2018It\u2019s absolutely disgusting and whoever voted for her now knows who they voted for and should kick her \u00a0a\u2013 to the curb,’\u201d Dr. Phil\u00a0said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

In an interview with Democracy Now! in June, Omar said, \u201cI mean, I grew up in a dictatorship and I don\u2019t even remember ever witnessing anything like that to have a democracy, a beacon of hope for the world to now be turned into one of the, you know, one of the worst countries, where the military are in our streets without any regard for people\u2019s constitutional rights.\u201d<\/p>\n

Omar, who was born in Somalia, referenced President\u00a0Donald Trump\u2019s\u00a0military parade<\/a> on Flag Day, June 14, that commemorated the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army and was also his 79th birthday.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur president is spending millions of dollars [propping] himself up like a failed dictator with a military parade,\u201d Omar said ahead of the parade, adding that he is \u201cdestroying our country.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is really shocking, and it should be a wake-up call for all Americans to say this is not the country we were born in,\u201d she added. \u201cThis is not the country we believe in, this is not the country our Founding Fathers imagined, and this is not the country that is supported by our Constitution, our ideals, our values, and we should all collectively be out in the streets rejecting what is taking place this week.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dr. Phil also said that Omar is ungrateful.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cMost shocking, instead of gratitude for America, she has the unmitigated gall to just spew nothing but unwavering disdain, and this isn\u2019t new,\u201d Dr. Phil said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIn 2019 she said this is not going to be the country of White people,\u201d he added. \u201cIn 2020 she said we must dismantle the whole system of oppression, so oppressive that she came here as a refugee, got all of these entitlements, and was elected to Congress.<\/p>\n

In June 2021, she compared the\u00a0US and Israel to Hamas<\/a> and the Taliban, saying, \u2018We have seen unthinkable atrocities committed by the US Hamas, Israel, Afghanistan and the Taliban.\u2019 Really, she puts the US on that list. That\u2019s crazy talk.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dr. Phil said Omar should consider returning to her home country if she dislikes America so much.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cIf this is such a horrible country, wonder why she doesn\u2019t return to Somalia,\u201d he mused. \u201cWell, maybe because Somalia isn\u2019t the most corrupt country in the world, it\u2019s the second most corrupt country in the world.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n

He also highlighted that,\u00a0according to\u00a0reports\u00a0published in June 2022,\u00a099.2% of 15\u201349-year-old Somali women have had to undergo female genital mutilation.<\/p>\n
