Limp Bizkit<\/strong> bassist Sam Rivers<\/strong> sadly died over the weekend<\/a> and now it seems that some details have emerged regarding his death.<\/p>\n

According to a report from TMZ<\/a>, authorities in St. Johns County, FL responded to a call on October 18 regarding a “nonresponsive person in cardiac arrest.” That call was marked as an “attended death” call, which according to the American Institute of Crime Scene Integrity<\/a> (AICSI) is “one in which the decedent has been a patient under medical care for a serious or life-threatening illness that will likely lead to death in a relatively short period of time.”<\/p>\n

Still, no official cause of death has been revealed. It also seems that Limp Bizkit<\/strong> will continue with their planned live shows, as a promoter for the band’s November 29 show at the Explanada del Estadio Banorte in Mexico City, Mexico has shared the following statement (via ThePRP<\/a>): “We deeply regret the passing of Sam Rivers<\/strong>, founding bassist of Limp Bizkit<\/strong>, whose talent and legacy marked generations and will continue to resonate in every note of his music.<\/p>\n

“In such a significant moment for the band and its fans, Limp Bizkit has decided to continue with its performance on November 29th at the Explanada Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, as part of its ‘Gringo Papi Tour’ 2025. That night, every riff and every scream of the crowd will resonate in honor of the great legacy Sam<\/strong> offered to to Nu-Metal, because his energy will never cease. See you soon!”<\/p>\n

Limp Bizkit<\/strong> (so far) will embark on their Papi Gringo Tour alongside Yungblud<\/strong>, 311<\/strong>, Ecca Vandal<\/strong>, Riff Raff<\/strong> and Slay Squad<\/strong>. Get your tickets here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
