On <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rvq3bhU3fTg\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kevin Harvick\u2019s Happy Hour<\/a>, Harvick reacted to Hamlin having mechanical issues during the race on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey\u2019ve had this throttle problem a few times,\u201d Kevin Harvick said. \u201cWhen you look at it, I think that\u2019s where the frustration from Denny came from on the radio, was the fact that they\u2019ve dealt with that particular issue. But you\u2019ve talked about some other mechanical issues that go with that car. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve seen the brake issues that the 23XI has had. We\u2019ve seen the brake issues that <strong>Christopher Bell<\/strong> had there with the rotor. The mechanical issues; there\u2019s been a lot of them, and I think that was where the frustration has come with Denny in the power steering that he had at Kansas and all the things that have come with those reallt fast cars. They\u2019ve had some gremlins that go along with that. But that one seems to have been multiple times, that it\u2019s only on the 11.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Denny Hamlin talks about his mechanical issues<\/p>\n<p>Denny Hamlin\u2019s issue with his throttle led to him <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/pro\/news\/full-results-2025-nascar-cup-series-yellawood-500-talladega-superspeedway-order-of-finish\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">finishing 24th at Talladega.<\/a> The good news for the No. 11 team is that Hamlin has clinched a spot in the NASCAR Cup Series Championship race after winning at Las Vegas earlier this month. <\/p>\n<p>On the Actions Detrimental podcast, Hamlin talked about the issues he has had with his No.11 Toyota. \u201cYeah, it\u2019s really, really frustrating because we want our results dictated by our performance on the race track,\u201d Hamlin said, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorsport.com\/nascar-cup\/news\/no-worries-from-jgr-after-denny-hamlins-stuck-throttle-\/10769822\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">via Motorsport.com. <\/a>\u201cNothing would absolutely suck worse than to go to Phoenix and have a mechanical (issue) or something happen that takes away (my) opportunity to achieve (my) dream.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve had issues with batteries and starters and clutches, and lots, lots, and lots this year. I\u2019ve had all three, and how should I word this \u2026 What if we hadn\u2019t won (Vegas), and that was my championship hopes, and that is where my frustration lies.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hamlin has won a NASCAR Cup Series-leading six races this season.
