Disgraced ex-Long Island Rep. George Santos revealed he is fleeing the Big Apple if Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani<\/a> is elected mayor \u2014 as he urged Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa to form a \u201ccoalition.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cSadly it seems that my family and I will be departing the city I\u2019ve called home my entire life. NYC will become a very dangerous place to live in if we elect mayor Mamdani and that is a risk I am unwilling to take now that I want to start growing my family,\u201d Santos wrote on X<\/a> Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The left-wing Democratic nominee holds a double-digit lead over independent candidate former Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Republican nominee Curtis Sliwa, according to a recent poll <\/a>from Gotham Polling and the city AARP.<\/p>\n

Santos, 37, didn\u2019t officially endorse a candidate, instead joining a growing crowd of Republicans asking Sliwa to step aside and align with Cuomo<\/a> for the \u201cgreater good\u201d \u2014 two weeks before the polls in the general election open. <\/p>\n

\u201cI pray that God will illuminate the mind of Republican Curtis Sliwa and give him the strength, courage and humility to step aside and work with Cuomo to save NYC<\/a> from Marxism\/sharia disaster,\u201d Santos wrote hours later.<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cAndrew Cuomo, extend an offer of partnership to Curtis and form a coalition to save NYC,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s time to put our personal needs aside and unite to the greater good of the largest city in the country.\u201d<\/p>\n

Santos received some pushback online for encouraging Cuomo, but admitted he had been \u201cout of the picture\u201d during his recent imprisonment.<\/p>\n

\u201cClearly I\u2019ve been out of the picture and I am very aware that Cuomo is a horrible human being\u2026 my point above is based on the polling I\u2019m reading,\u201d he said<\/a>. \u201cPlease don\u2019t shoot me down and educate me instead on what I have missed.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLove you all and let\u2019s have a solid and good conversation on this, the one thing I think we all agree is Mamdani is BAD for NYC,\u201d Santos added.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, the defiant Sliwa rejected the calls for him to drop out of the race.<\/p>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s be very clear: I am not dropping out, under no circumstances,\u201d Sliwa said during a press conference on the Upper West Side, revealing he has turned down a hefty pay day to stay in the race.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve already been offered money to drop out, I said \u2018no,\u2019\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

The Guardian Angels founder \u2014 who has claimed he\u2019s turned down $10 million in \u201cbribes\u201d for him to drop out \u2014 stubbornly stood his ground, while taking aim at the donor class for trying to meddle in the heated race.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe billionaires have led the parade and they\u2019ve been wrong every step of the way,\u201d Sliwa told reporters.<\/p>\n

Santos\u2019 comments on the highly-watched NYC mayor\u2019s race come days after President Trump commuted his 87-month prison sentence<\/a> for wire fraud and aggravated identity theft.<\/p>\n

On Friday, Trump announced his decision to commute the booted congressman\u2019s jail time, citing \u201chorrible\u201d mistreatment by the Bureau of Prisons.<\/p>\n

\u201cGeorge Santos was somewhat of a \u2018rogue,\u2019 but there are many rogues throughout our Country that aren\u2019t forced to serve seven years in prison,\u201d Trump said on Truth Social.<\/p>\n

Santos served a total of 84 days of the 7-plus-year prison sentence at New Jersey\u2019s FCI Fairton.<\/p>\n

He was freed from the medium-security facility<\/a> at around 11 p.m. and was whisked away in an unmarked SUV.<\/p>\n

The lying pol returned to social media to thank Trump and say he was given a second chance at life.<\/p>\n

Santos also began fulfilling requests on Cameo, sharing selfie-styled personal messages to paying customers on the platform.<\/p>\n

Santos\u2019 first \u201cCameo\u201d\u00a0was to wish former Trump White House staffer Megan Small\u00a0<\/a>a happy birthday, according to a video posted online.<\/p>\n

\u201cGeorge Santos, fresh out of prison break,\u201d the ex-con said, laughing, before he finished his birthday message.<\/p>\n
