Jimmy Fallon<\/a> on Tuesday burned Robert F. Kennedy<\/a> Jr\u2019s reported upcoming food recommendations \u2015 which are said to promote eating saturated fats.<\/p>\n

The \u201cTonight Show\u201d host was riffing on President Donald Trump<\/a>\u2019s demolition of the White House\u2019s East Wing to build a $250 million ballroom<\/a> when Fallon switched gears to Kennedy\u2019s controversial overhaul of dietary guidelines as part of the Make America Health Again movement.<\/p>\n

\u201cHealth Secretary RFK Jr. is set to announce that Americans should eat more butter, cheese and red meat,\u201d Fallon said \u201cWhen they heard that, every cardiologist started building their own $200 million ballroom.\u201d<\/p>\n

As the audience laughed, the comedian added, \u201cThey\u2019re like, \u2018Wanna add bacon in there, too?\u2019 \u201d<\/p>\n

Fast-forward to 5:23 for a taste of Fallon\u2019s Kennedy zinger:<\/strong><\/p>\n

NewsNation reported<\/a> Kennedy\u2019s plans earlier this week and said they could be issued before the end of the month.<\/p>\n

Kennedy has touted his own \u201ccarnivore diet<\/a>\u201d featuring meat plus yogurt without sugar and fermented vegetables such as kimchi.<\/p>\n

Several of his previous nutritional claims, including a call for foods to be fried in beef tallow instead of seed oils like canola and sunflower, have invited scrutiny<\/a>.<\/p>\n
