His longtime backer, <strong>HendrickCars.com<\/strong>, will remain onboard as primary sponsor, continuing a partnership that began in the <strong>NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Caruth will join a strong JR Motorsports lineup that includes full-time Xfinity drivers <strong>Justin Allgaier<\/strong> and <strong>Sammy Smith<\/strong>, as well as part-time standouts <strong>Connor Zilisch<\/strong> and <strong>Carson Kvapil<\/strong> in the No. 1 car led by <strong>Cup Series champion crew chief Rodney Childers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Caruth\u2019s Breakout Truck Series Season: A Championship Push<\/p>\n<p>Caruth\u2019s elevation to JR Motorsports comes amid a breakout year in the <strong>NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series<\/strong>, where he\u2019s positioned for a shot at the <strong>Championship 4<\/strong>. Driving the <strong>No. 71 Chevrolet Silverado<\/strong> for <strong>Spire Motorsports<\/strong>, Caruth sits <strong>second in the standings<\/strong>, <strong>14 points above the cutoff line<\/strong> heading into the final elimination race at <strong>Martinsville Speedway<\/strong> on October 24.<\/p>\n<p>In the playoff battle, <strong>Corey Heim<\/strong> has already clinched his Championship 4 berth with a win.
