Items most needed include canned meats, vegetables and fruits, peanut butter and jelly, pasta, rice, dry beans and shelf-stable soups or meals. Another option is to purchased food items through the agency\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/hz\/wishlist\/ls\/1EXVF6B4HM0HN\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/hz\/wishlist\/ls\/1EXVF6B4HM0HN\">Amazon wish list<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 dbPNdY body-paragraph\">Gift cards to Winn-Dixie, Aldi, Harveys, Walmart, Target or Publix help families purchase perishable items, baby formula and household necessities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 dbPNdY body-paragraph\">Donations may be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccbjax.org\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.ccbjax.org\">made onlin<\/a>e (select \u201cFood Program\u201d) or mailed to the Jacksonville regional office, 6 E. Bay Street, Suite 301, Jacksonville, FL 32202. Financial gifts allow Catholic Charities to buy food at reduced cost through partner suppliers. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 dbPNdY body-paragraph\">Another shutdown impact: Today we\u2019re expecting a decision from the Blue Angels as Jacksonville gets ready for this weekend\u2019s Annual Sea and Sky airshow. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 dbPNdY body-paragraph\">The Navy has canceled multiple events due to the government shutdown. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 dbPNdY body-paragraph\">Event organizers say that even if the Blue Angels are a no-go, there will be a civilian airshow. <\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 dbPNdY body-paragraph\">The Blue Angels canceled last weekend\u2019s Wings Over Georgia Airshow, and the weekend before that they were a no-show in San Francisco.<\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 dbPNdY body-paragraph\">\u25b6 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wokv.com\/on-demand\/morning-news-podcast\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wokv.com\/on-demand\/morning-news-podcast\/\"><b>Listen to Jacksonville\u2019s Morning News Interviews<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"default__StyledText-sc-tl066j-0 dbPNdY body-paragraph\"><b>First Alert Weather: <\/b>Tracking a cold front and a new tropical storm in the Caribbean. 50s inland in the morning and 60s along the coast and St. Johns River as a cold front approaches and passes through the area.
