If you bought a Mega Millions ticket at a Trio convenience store in McHenry recently, you’ll want to check your numbers. <\/p>\n
Someone in Illinois won $3 million in Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing, and the winning ticket was sold at the Bull Valley Trio located at 5301 Bull Valley Road in McHenry, according to Illinois Lottery. <\/p>\n
The white ball numbers pulled in Tuesday night’s drawing were 2, 18, 27, 34 and 59, and the winning ticket matched all five. <\/p>\n
Though the winning ticket missed the Mega Ball of 18, the player’s prize came out to $3 million after a 3x multiplier was added, according to Illinois Lottery. <\/p>\n
Melissa Motroni, manager of Bull Valley Trio, said the store also sold a $10,000 winning scratch off ticket last month.<\/p>\n
\u201cI guess you can say we\u2019re a lucky store. Everyone\u2019s excited to see who the winner is!” she said. <\/p>\n
For selling the winning ticket, Bull Valley Trio will receive a $30,000 bonus. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe have no idea who the winner is yet, but we\u2019re all hoping it\u2019s one of our regulars,\u201d added Motroni. \u201cWe\u2019re looking forward to celebrating this amazing win with them.\u201d<\/p>\n
Mega Millions tickets cost $5 each and include randomly assigned multipliers that improve all non-jackpot prizes by 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or 10x, according to Illinois Lottery. <\/p>\n
