\n\tNext Gen NYC<\/a> is returning for a second season, Bravo<\/a> has officially announced. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe news of the renewal comes exactly three months after the series concluded its eight-episode first season earlier this year, on July 22.<\/p>\n

\n\tBravo has additionally confirmed that the full Next Gen NYC season one cast is returning for season two. <\/p>\n

\n\tSeason one of Next Gen NYC notably featured four children of Real Housewives<\/a> stars, marking the first time the kids of beloved Bravo women stepped into the spotlight solo of their mothers. Brooks Marks<\/a> (son of RHOSLC\u2018s Meredith Marks), Ariana Biermann (daughter of RHOA\u2018s Kim Zolciak-Biermann), Riley Burruss (daughter of RHOA\u2018s Kandi Burruss) and Gia Giudice (daughter of RHONJ\u2018s Teresa Giudice) all starred in season one.<\/p>\n

\n\tWhen speaking with The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> earlier this year, Next Gen NYC creator and executive producer Michaline Babich explained that the idea for the series arose from her time working on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. The crux of the cast was assembled around Marks\u2019 friend group in New York City \u2014 not the idea of a show with the offspring of housewives.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI think many production companies will say that they\u2019ve pitched, you know, \u2018We should do something with the housewives\u2019 kids.\u2019 But that\u2019s a concept, not a cast,\u201d she said. \u201cIt really did come out of Brooks, and he had a group of friends in New York.\u201d <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Real Housewives\u2018 children weren\u2019t the only cast members accustomed to the limelight, as Ava Dash, daughter to Damon Dash, also took part in the series. Charlie Zakkour, Shai Fruchter, Georgia McCann, Emira D\u2019Spain and Hudson McLeroy rounded out the cast.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeason two of Next Gen NYC will have no shortage of content, as the cast continues to juggle many shifting dynamics. Biermann and McLeroy, who dated on and off for years since high school, recently announced their split, while Ava\u2019s father, Damon, also filed for bankruptcy<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tAdditionally, before season one aired, Page Six<\/a> reported Zakkour was allegedly at the scene of the arrest<\/a> of crypto investor John Woeltz, who has been charged<\/a> with kidnapping and torturing a man alongside William Duplessie, per AP News.
