{"id":325091,"date":"2025-10-23T00:03:16","date_gmt":"2025-10-23T00:03:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/325091\/"},"modified":"2025-10-23T00:03:16","modified_gmt":"2025-10-23T00:03:16","slug":"videos-obtained-by-the-times-show-ice-raid-that-left-deputy-u-s-marshal-tiktok-streamer-shot","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/325091\/","title":{"rendered":"Videos obtained by The Times show ICE raid that left deputy U.S. marshal, TikTok streamer shot"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Times has obtained videos showing the incident <a class=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.latimes.com\/california\/story\/2025-10-22\/tiktok-streamer-ice-arrest\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tuesday in South Los Angeles that left <\/a>a deputy U.S. marshal and a TikTok streamer wounded during an immigration enforcement operation and its aftermath.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities say the deputy marshal was hit by a ricochet bullet fired by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer at the streamer, Carlitos Ricardo Parias, who was charged Tuesday night with assault on a federal officer. Both suffer non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p>           <video playsinline=\"playsinline\" loop=\"\" preload=\"none\" title=\"Video before shooting of Tik Tok streamer accused of trying to assault federal agents with his vehicle\" data-video-id=\"0000019a-0d8a-dbd0-a1ff-7ffb13da0000\">               <\/video>                 <img class=\"image\" alt=\"\"   width=\"473\" height=\"840\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1761177796_491_\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"\/>                    Two views<\/p>\n<p>Here is what the videos show:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"rte2-style-ul\">\n<li>One video shows a large amounts of smoke coming from a sedan that is boxed between two law enforcement vehicles.<\/li>\n<li>For 25 seconds, smoke continues to rise from the car, as the sound of an engine revs up and down repeatedly.<\/li>\n<li>Then an agent shouts \u201cShoot him with a pepper ball!\u201d<\/li>\n<li>As the sound from the vehicle goes quiet, 11 shots ring out in rapid succession. The video does not show who fired the shots.<\/li>\n<li>A second video shows the aftermath of the shooting.<\/li>\n<li>Several law enforcement officials surround the sedan. They eventually open the door and appear to pull someone out. The person screams in pain. Officer urge people out of frame to \u201cget back.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>The suspect is placed against a wall and handcuffed. Bill Essayli said in a post on X that Parias rammed a Toyota Camry into the law enforcement vehicles in front of and behind him, \u201cspun the tires, spewing smoke and debris into the air, causing the car to fishtail and causing agents to worry for their safety.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>An agent then opened fire, wounding Parias and a deputy U.S. marshal, who authorities said was hit with a ricochet bullet.
