Alabama became the latest program to offer Zionsville (Ind.) High 2028 tight end Theo Schott<\/a><\/strong>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cI was just speechless,\u201d Schott stated. \u201cIt\u2019s just crazy. It\u2019s Alabama. They\u2019ve been dominant for so long. I don\u2019t know what else to say.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Crimson Tide join Purdue, Illinois, Louisville and Oregon in extending a scholarship to the 6-foot-4, 210-pound Schott.<\/p>\n

Tight ends coach Bryan Ellis gave Schott the good news.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe said he was watching my film, watching class of 2028 guys tonight and he had to call me right away, he liked what he saw,\u201d Schott said.<\/p>\n

Easy to see why.<\/p>\n

A nice blend of size and athleticism, Schott is a smooth prospect that can stretch the field and is dynamic with the ball in his hands. He can also play attached and block at the point of attack. Several other programs including Georgia and Notre Dame are showing interest.<\/p>\n

As the process continues Schott looks forward to building the relationship with Ellis and Alabama.<\/p>\n

\u201cObviously they\u2019ve been the most dominant program the last 10 years,\u201d Schott said. \u201cThat\u2019s really exciting. Their culture is great. I don\u2019t know much about the tight ends they\u2019ve produced but they\u2019re the winningest program. It\u2019s really exciting I have another great opportunity.\u201d<\/p>\n

Schott has upcoming visits to Georgia and Oregon planned.
