A total of seven former Bond Girls were brought together at The London Cabaret Club on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Namely, the group included Maryam D\u2019Abo, Caroline Munro, Martine Beswick, Carole Ashby, Safira Afzal, Vanya Seager and Alison Worth.<\/p>\n

The women were all smiles as they marked the release of a new Bond-inspired show, London Never Dies.<\/p>\n

Caroline, 76, starred in A Spy Who Loved Me and dressed for the occasion in a black dress, silver belt and necklace.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Carole, 70, featured opposite Roger Moore in both Octopussy and A View To Kill.<\/p>\n

For the glamourous event, she opted for a patterned maxi skirt alongside a mesh top.<\/p>\n

Martine, 84, starred opposite Sean Connery in From Russia With Love and Thunderball.<\/p>\n

She had selected a black figure-hugging gown as her choice of outfit for the evening.<\/p>\n

Three of the women, Alison, Safira and Vanya, were all featured in Octopussy.<\/p>\n

It comes as an in-demand Hollywood star is said to be the favourite<\/a> to become the next Bond Girl.<\/p>\n

The Sun revealed that the franchise\u2019s\u00a0new director Denis Ville\u00adneuve<\/a>\u00a0is keen to cast American actress Sydney Sweeney.<\/p>\n

The White Lotus\u00a0and\u00a0Euphoria\u00a0actress, 28, is a friend of the director \u2013 and she also has support from another key name.<\/p>\n

In particular, Sydney has the backing of\u00a0Jeff Bezos<\/a>, boss of\u00a0Amazon\u00a0\u2014 which has creative control of the series.<\/p>\n

A movie source said: \u201cSydney is the top name on the casting sheet for Bond.<\/p>\n

\u201cDenis believes she is hugely talented, as well as having an alluring appeal to younger generations, vital in modernising the franchise.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019ve hung out together a lot and he has admired her stratospheric rise.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlus\u00a0Sydney\u00a0has the quality of being athletic and able to perform physical scenes, as well as being feminine and following in the legacy of Bond girls.\u201d<\/p>\n

The next instalment will also mark the arrival of a new 007 \u2013 after Daniel Craig\u00a0bowed out with 2021\u2019s No Time to Die.<\/p>\n
