AC maintenance at Sky Harbor Airport causes long lines<\/p>\n

Air conditioning in Terminal 4 of Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport was turned off for maintenance that took longer than expected, resulting in an unexpected warm-up.<\/p>\n

Travelers may feel higher-than-normal temperatures in Terminal 4 at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport during the morning of Oct. 23.<\/p>\n

“Operations crews are working to bring the cooling system back online in Terminal 4,” airport spokesperson Jon Brodsky said in an email.<\/p>\n

There is no impact to flight operations, Brodsky said.<\/p>\n

Details were not immediately available about what was happening with the AC system in the terminal. Temporary cooling units were placed throughout the terminal.<\/p>\n

This is not the first time cooling issues have happened in Terminal 4.<\/p>\n

Travelers took to social media July 9 to report warm temperatures inside the airport<\/a>, and news coverage from other outlets reported travelers fanning themselves.<\/p>\n
