LOS ANGELES (CNS) \u2014 The Superior Court of Los Angeles County unveiled its new website Tuesday, which officials touted as a \u201cmodern digital experience\u201d and a \u201cmajor milestone.\u201d<\/p>\n
Officials said the move to a .gov address \u201cenhances trust, transparency and alignment with statewide digital standards used by most California government entities.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThe launch of the court\u2019s new website represents a major milestone in the court\u2019s mission to meet the needs of court users wherever they are,\u201d Presiding Judge Sergio Tapia II said. \u201cWe are proud of the hard work and dedication that went into this effort. The new design puts the user first, whether accessing the site from a phone, tablet or desktop. It is now easier than ever to find important information and services.\u201d<\/p>\n
The court said the new site involved nearly two years of planning, design and development.<\/p>\n

\u2022 A mobile-responsive layout that improves usability across all device types.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Updated content with clearer explanations to improve accessibility for all court users, including self-represented litigants.<\/p>\n
\u2022 An interactive \u201cCourtHelp\u201d tool offering tailored responses to frequently asked questions.<\/p>\n
