(Image source: Garmin)<\/p>\n<p>Garmin has delivered a new update for one of its latest smartwatches. While a beta update for now, the new features it contains should soon be repackaged as part of a stable release that takes in other recent beta development too.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">The company has been busy working towards issuing a substantial stable update over on its Beta Program, though. In fact, v15.xx beta development has been underway for almost a month at this point after the introduction of Beta 15.05 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.notebookcheck.net\/Garmin-releases-major-new-update-to-high-end-smartwatch-showcasing-new-watch-faces-and-other-improvements.1125307.0.html\" target=\"_self\" class=\"internal-link\" rel=\"noopener\">at the end of September<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Now the company has moved onto Beta 15.10, which it appears to have restricted to a manual installation for the time being. As a result, one must navigate through Main menu, Settings, System and then Software Update on a Beta Program-enrolled Venu X1 before tapping &#8216;Check For Updates&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bodytext\">Once Beta 15.10 has been downloaded and installed, the Venu X1 should have access to three new watch faces. Additionally, Garmin claims to have added a glance that tracks health data changes and overall wellbeing. Moreover, the Venu X1 can finally be powered down without needing to enter a passcode beforehand.
