While talking about Trump\u2019s viral post on Thursday\u2019s episode of \u201cThe Weekly Show,\u201d<\/a> the host broke down why the video was so shocking and how Republican attempts to defend the video as satire were more upsetting as a comedian than anything else.<\/p>\n \u201cI think my favorite part of it was Republicans who were asked about said diarrhea plane have to say things like, \u2018Well, you know, the American people know that Donald Trump speaks his mind, and they really appreciate his honest reaction of the diarrhea plane,’\u201d Stewart said. \u201cMike Johnson was the best \u2013 the Speaker of the House, Mike Johnson, little cowlick Mike Johnson. \u2018What do you make of the president showing a video of him dropping diarrhea from a plane onto, uh, American people who are just expressing their dissatisfaction?’\u201d<\/p>\n He continued: \u201c\u2018Well, the president is, you know, he\u2019s very satirical.\u2019 You know, I appreciate the satire, and, uh, I\u2019m offended \u2013 not as an American but as a comedian. What is this? What exactly is that? What is the satire? I\u2019m just curious. Oh, it\u2019s diarrhea from a plane. I get it now. A good one, sir.\u201d<\/p>\n Stewart than pivoted to talk about the Pentagon pushing out journalists who did not agree to sign Pete Hegseth\u2019s restrictive policies that limit what reporters can say. The host joked that maybe Trump\u2019s diarrhea plane was a classified thing that snuck through the bars.<\/p>\n \u201cWhy would you need information from the Pentagon,\u201d Stewart asked. \u201cI know they have a diarrhea plane. I don\u2019t even know if that was classified \u2014 that could have been classified information that somehow got out. Someone\u2019s going to pay the price for that. That\u2019s way worse than the Signal chat.\u201d<\/p>\n The video was set to the song \u201cDanger Zone\u201d by Kenny Loggins and also features political commentator Harry Sisson at a protest in New York. Trump offered the video without any other commentary.
