As North Texas gears up for the Fourth of July weekend, projected highs have… dropped?<\/p>\n
It\u2019s hard to imagine in the heat of a Texas summer, but the forecast maximum temperature for Wednesday through Friday has dropped into the low 90s each day. <\/p>\n
It\u2019s only just below the average high for the first week of July, 94 degrees, according to the National Weather Service\u2019s Fort Worth office. However, it is a noticeable shift in the forecast after the holiday was expected to reach a few degrees above average earlier in the week.<\/p>\n
Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are also all expected to be partly cloudy, with chances of rain showers to the west of the metro area. High humidity will still drive the \u201cfeels like\u201d temperature to the upper 90s, but it is not expected to eclipse 100 until Saturday.<\/p>\n
