After a smooth start earlier this morning, the Friday commute in North Texas is about to get more difficult for some drivers. There are a few collisions to note across the region that may cause some traffic disruptions. <\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what you need to know before hitting the road. <\/p>\n

Collisions <\/p>\n

As of about 7 a.m., all lanes of northbound Dallas North Tollwa<\/a>y in Addison are closed at Belt Line Road due to a crash, according to a traffic alert from North Texas Tollway Authority<\/a>. NTTA warned that drivers should expect heavy delays in the area.<\/p>\n

Further, there is an accident on southbound Interstate-635 at La Prada Drive in Dallas, prompting significant jams in the area, according to the the Texas Department of Transportation<\/a> map. As of about 7:15 a.m., at least two lanes were closed due to the incident. <\/p>\n

Another collision to be aware of is on southbound Loop 12 at I-30 (Tom Landry).
