Red means hot, blue means not, with a 10 signaling the restaurants with the most attractive diners. <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/venue\/7195\/carbone\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Carbone<\/a> is 9.7; <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2025\/5\/13\/24428822\/raouls-documentary-tribeca-festival-tickets\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Raoul\u2019s<\/a> is 6.4; no results for <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2023\/4\/20\/23690957\/dhamaka-new-menu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dhamaka<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2025\/1\/22\/24349590\/crevette-opening-greenwich-village-ed-szymanski-patricia-howard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Crevette<\/a> (lucky for them); and Sarabeth\u2019s on the Upper West Side is 6.8. \u201cThe model is certainly biased. It\u2019s certainly flawed. But we judge places by the people who go there [&#8230;] This website just puts reductive numbers on the superficial calculations we make every day,\u201d reads the website. LooksMapping \u201c is more cultural commentary than practical resource,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2025\/07\/01\/dining\/looksmapping-hot-customers.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">writes the <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2025\/07\/01\/dining\/looksmapping-hot-customers.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">New York Times<\/a>, yet, \u201c its premise speaks to a growing trend of diners prioritizing a restaurant\u2019s clientele over its food or atmosphere.\u201d It also reports that \u201cracial biases in artificial intelligence are baked into the programming.\u201d All of which is to say: One guy looked at 2.8 million reviews and decided the future of dining is Hot or Not, circa 2000.<\/p>\n<p>Flynn McGarry\u2019s fancy Long Island pop-up<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">In anticipation of his new restaurant, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2024\/12\/17\/24322432\/flynn-mcgarry-cove-restaurant-opening-hudson-square\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Cove<\/a> \u2014 the 70-seat restaurant he\u2019s rolling out in Hudson Square in the fall \u2014 chef Flynn McGarry is hosting a pop-up series in Brookhaven on Long Island. \u201cHere you can enjoy a five-course meal in their lush garden, with a special tour from McGarry himself, and the option to stay the night at the B&amp;B,\u201d<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/resy.com\/cities\/new-york-ny\/venues\/cove?date=2025-07-02&amp;seats=2\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"> reads the Resy booking<\/a>, while Emily Sundberg <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.readfeedme.com\/p\/stylecom-shitposting-and-bon-appetits\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">revealed<\/a> on her Substack that the space is actually Isabella Rossellini\u2019s farm. It starts at $264 per ticket which includes five courses, wine or juice pairing, and gratuity. <\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph n2hx75i _1knl15h1 _1knl15h0 cej01i1\">As part of the Summer of Riesling, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wineisterroir.com\/\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Terroir Tribeca<\/a> is hosting its annual Riesling cruise on Tuesday, July 22 from 7 to 10:30 p.m. that departs from the 23rd Street marina. It\u2019s $125 for three hours and includes \u201ca boatload\u201d of Riesling, as well as a Riesling ice luge.
