Luke Clanton is a superstar in the making, and he already seems completely at ease out on the PGA Tour.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Clanton<\/a> has played three PGA Tour<\/a> events since turning pro, and he has made two cuts since then.<\/p>\n

He also made three cuts as an amateur earlier on this season.<\/p>\n

Clanton played alongside Rory McIlroy during his professional debut<\/a> in Canada last month, and he didn\u2019t look out of place one little bit.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old is incredibly long off the tee, he possesses an exceptionally good short game and his putting is very solid.<\/p>\n

It seems like Clanton is destined for greatness. The man from Hialeah, Florida, is set to tee it up at the John Deere Classic<\/a> on Thursday.<\/p>\n

And he spoke to the press at TPC Deere Run about how it\u2019s not different for him now playing for money than it was before when he was an amateur.<\/p>\n

Clanton oozes class and maturity when speaking to reporters.<\/p>\n

That\u2019s really uncommon for someone so young, and it proves that he has his head screwed on.<\/p>\n

Clanton sat down with the media in Silvis, Illinois, on Tuesday, ahead of the John Deere Classic.<\/p>\n

The Floridian was asked if he felt differently about playing on the PGA Tour now that dollar signs are attached to everything he does on the golf course.<\/p>\n

\u201cAbsolutely nothing. Same thing for me. Going out here to compete against the best. You know, I think a dollar sign would not change my point of view on anything.\u201c<\/p>\n

He was then asked whether his perspective on the game has changed since he turned pro.<\/p>\n

Clanton said: \u201cAgain, no, not really. It\u2019s still a game at the end of the day. I think, yeah, obviously it\u2019s my job now. It\u2019s a pretty incredible job to have to be able to go out and play golf every day.<\/p>\n

\u201cAgain, you can say it\u2019s a job but it\u2019s not really a job. We\u2019re going out to play golf. It\u2019s pretty amazing. So, yeah.\u201c<\/p>\n

What a fantastic and extremely mature answer that is from Clanton.<\/p>\n

He knows that he\u2019s more than good enough to just play golf and the money will follow.<\/p>\n

Luke Clanton\u2019s career PGA Tour results<\/p>\n

The youngster has really impressed during the 16 events he has played on the PGA Tour, both as an amateur and a professional.<\/p>\n

Those are some really impressive numbers.<\/p>\n

Clanton is clearly going to win on the PGA Tour at some point, and that will probably happen sooner rather than later.<\/p>\n
