Kennedy Jr., and former New York magazine reporter Olivia Nuzzi saying, \u201cwhether it\u2019s true or false, doesn\u2019t matter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cCurb Your Enthusiasm\u201d star opened up about the alleged emotional affair during a Friday interview on \u201cThe Katie Miller Podcast,\u201d where Katie Miller asked how she responded to Nuzzi \u201ctrying to monetize herself over Bobby\u201d with the book Nuzzi plans to release, which will touch on her alleged relationship with Kennedy.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/powerwomensummit2025.splashthat.com\/Creators\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\" noreferrer noopener nofollow\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"970\" height=\"250\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/1761344891_684_PWS-970-x-250-3.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7867003\"  \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hines said that at that time when Kennedy was running for president, it was an \u201cexhausting year and a half of headlines and rumors and articles and chaos.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt that time, I thought, \u2018OK, this is more chaos and more rumors,\u201d Hines said, noting that she had just lost her nephew when the drama started up. \u201cIt was a lot. It was coming up on the heels of everything else.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>She continued: \u201cThen to have a story, was distracting at best, but also in the scheme of what\u2019s real, what\u2019s not, what\u2019s important, what\u2019s not, it was not ranking up in the this is what\u2019s important in life category.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She added that she has \u201cno idea\u201d who Nuzzi is. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t know this person, don\u2019t know their intentions,\u201d Hines said. \u201cI could guess, but I won\u2019t. But you can if you want.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\t\t<a class=\"the-wrap-read-more__image\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thewrap.com\/cheryl-hines-rfk-pretend-fake-separated-presidential-campaign\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><br \/>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/Cheryl-Hines-Robert-F.-Kennedy-Jr.jpeg\" class=\"attachment-medium size-medium\" alt=\"Cheryl Hines and Robert F. Kennedy Jr.\"   data-portal-copyright=\"TheWrap\" data-has-syndication-rights=\"1\"\/>\t\t\t\t\t<\/a><\/p>\n<p>She said one of the lessons she learned during Kennedy\u2019s campaign was that \u201cthere are people that really want to be involved in the conversation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not just talking about this person, I\u2019m talking about a lot of people,\u201d Hines explained. \u201cThey spend a lot of time figuring out how to write something that\u2019s going to get people\u2019s attention. And if they do, then they are really celebrating. Whether it\u2019s true or false, doesn\u2019t matter. If it gets people\u2019s attention, it\u2019s a celebration. It\u2019s a success for them.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As TheWrap previously reported, Nuzzi is set to publish a book that spotlights her alleged relationship with Kennedy. <\/p>\n<p>The book is set to be released around the holidays,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.status.news\/p\/olivia-nuzzi-book-rfk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">according to Status<\/a>, and galleys have been floated around to a small number of readers. Nuzzi worked on the memoir while spending roughly the last year in Los Angeles.
