[Image: Flex]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Austin-based manufacturing and supply chain company Flex (Nasdaq: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=Nasdaq%3A+FLEX&amp;oq=Nasdaq%3A+FLEX&amp;gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIGCAEQRRg60gEHNDA5ajBqN6gCALACAA&amp;sourceid=chrome&amp;ie=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FLEX<\/a>) is expanding its U.S. manufacturing capacity with a new 400,000-square-foot Dallas manufacturing facility that is focused on power products for data centers.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Flex said its new Dallas facility at 4001 N. Prairie Creek Road in East Dallas \u201csignificantly boosts production capacity and efficiency\u201d for its grid-to-chip data center power infrastructure solutions, including power pods, power distribution units, and low-voltage switchgear.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Dallas Innovates first <a href=\"https:\/\/dallasinnovates.com\/austin-based-flex-announces-new-dallas-manufacturing-facility-to-meet-ai-driven-power-demands\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a> about the facility last February.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs AI adoption accelerates, the need for reliable, efficient, and scalable power infrastructure grows,\u201d Chris Butler, president of Embedded and Critical Power at Flex, said in a statement. \u201cOur new Dallas facility positions us to deliver next-generation power infrastructure solutions that help customers maximize computing performance while reducing deployment times. We are committed to tackling the complex power challenges of AI-enabled data centers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The company said the strategic investment enhances its ability to meet the rising power infrastructure demands driven by AI adoption and reduces production lead times for U.S. customers.<\/p>\n<p>Flex said it continues to invest in its capabilities to serve the data center market.<\/p>\n<p>The company said that after its acquisition of Garland-based Crown Technical Systems in October 2024, the new Dallas facility will serve as a central hub, bringing together technical power pod fabrication and assembly with utility-grade capabilities in the U.S., enabling faster and more efficient distribution for its growing North American customer base.<\/p>\n<p>Flex has a proven track record of scaling power pod production in EMEA and is leveraging that expertise for its U.S. expansion.<\/p>\n<p>Flex said that through the collective strength of a global workforce across 30 countries and responsible, sustainable operations, the company delivers technology innovation, supply chain, and manufacturing solutions to diverse industries and end markets.<\/p>\n<p>Don\u2019t miss what\u2019s next.
