HOUSTON<\/strong> \u2013 A search is underway Wednesday for a missing child with special needs who is described as nonverbal in northwest Harris County.<\/p>\n

Deputies with Constable Mark Herman\u2019s Office responded to the 26100 block of Hideaway Run Drive regarding a missing 13-year-old boy with special needs. <\/p>\n

The child, who is nonverbal, was last seen wearing a black camouflage t-shirt, black shorts, and no shoes.<\/p>\n

Authorities report that the child may have wandered off. Efforts to locate him are ongoing, and the community is urged to be vigilant and report any sightings immediately.<\/p>\n
