Rush<\/a> is feeling the spirit of radio live shows.<\/p>\n Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson\u2019s heavy prog rock band just extended their 2026 North American \u2018Fifty Something Tour\u2019 for the third time.<\/p>\n What originally started out as a brief 11-concert jaunt \u2014\u00a0their first since 2015 and legendary drummer Neil Peart\u2019s untimely 2020 passing \u2014\u00a0has now expanded to 56 shows that will send the Rock Hall of Famers to arenas all over the U.S. and their native Canada from June through December.<\/p>\n That includes four concerts at New York City\u2019s Madison Square Garden. That quartet of gigs go down:<\/p>\n Tuesday, July 28<\/strong> Thursday, July 30<\/strong> Saturday, Aug. 1<\/strong> Monday, Aug. 3<\/strong> They\u2019ll also hit Philadelphia\u2019s Xfinity Mobile Arena on Friday, Aug. 21<\/a> and Sunday, Aug. 23<\/a>, which is one of their many newly-added show dates.<\/p>\n \u201cWow,\u201d Lee and Lifeson shared in an Instagram video<\/a>. \u201cWe are blown away by the response to the announcement we made a few weeks ago that we\u2019re going back on tour. I cannot tell you how [surprised] and overwhelmed we are\u2026we can\u2019t wait to get onstage and make all those mistakes we\u2019ve been practicing.\u201d<\/p>\n At all 50-something \u2018Fifty Something Tour\u2019 shows, the \u201cTom Sawyer\u201d rockers will be joined by German drummer Anika Nilles. The accomplished percussionist broke out with her viral YouTube videos in the early 2010s that led to work touring with Jeff Beck. <\/p>\n Based on our findings, the band is promising \u201ctwo sets each night.
