The New York Times has added badges to recognize certain achievements in Wordle, Spelling Bee, and Connections.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">\u201cHave you achieved the infamous Wordle in 1? What about the Perfect Connections Puzzle? How many Pangrams are under your Spelling Bee belt? Badges are rewards you can earn through gameplay that let you look back on the moments that made your NYT Games journey special,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytco.com\/press\/gamify-your-gameplay-with-badges-from-new-york-times-games\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">according to the NYT<\/a>. In the app, you can even see your badges in \u201cyour very own trophy case.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">The NYT says there will also be \u201cseasonal events and special challenges,\u201d like badges that celebrate \u201cspecial holidays or special puzzles,\u201d and if you have an NYT Games subscription, you\u2019ll be able to access some exclusive badges.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Right now, the badges are \u201ccurrently\u201d only available for Wordle, Spelling Bee, and Connections, but you can \u201clook forward to more Badges coming across NYT Games.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Want to flex your Wordle habit beyond just keeping your streak?
