District 1 Councilwoman Sukh Kaur is looking for a new chief of staff, according to a LinkedIn job listing<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Kaur\u2019s office didn\u2019t immediately respond to the Current\u2019s inquiries about the open position. However, at least three people familiar with City Hall politics have told the Current that Salts was planning an exit. Those people declined to be named out of concern for their jobs. <\/p>\n

In June, San Antonio\u2019s Ethics Review Board found that Kaur violated the city\u2019s code of conduct<\/a> by allowing Salts to campaign on her behalf while at a Lavaca Neighborhood Association meeting in an official city capacity.\u00a0<\/p>\n

At the time, Kaur said she believed her staff acted appropriately based on guidance they received from the city.<\/p>\n

According to LinkedIn job listing, Kaur is looking for someone with five years\u2019 experience in government, public policy or executive-level support. A bachelor\u2019s degree is required, with a master\u2019s preferred.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The salary range is $84,000 to $134,000.\u00a0<\/p>\n
