{"id":333520,"date":"2025-10-26T09:23:18","date_gmt":"2025-10-26T09:23:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/333520\/"},"modified":"2025-10-26T09:23:18","modified_gmt":"2025-10-26T09:23:18","slug":"texas-am-trolls-lsu-over-cancelled-drone-show-following-win","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/333520\/","title":{"rendered":"Texas A&#038;M trolls LSU over cancelled drone show following win"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>No. 3 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/sites\/aggie-yell\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Texas A&amp;M<\/a><\/strong> improved to 8-0 (5-0) on the season with a dominant 49-25 victory over No. 20 <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/teams\/lsu-tigers\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">LSU<\/a><\/strong> Saturday night in Baton Rouge.<\/p>\n<p>Following the massive win for the Aggies, <strong>Texas A&amp;M<\/strong> Football\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/AggieFootball\" rel=\"nofollow\">Twitter\/X account<\/a> trolled <strong>LSU<\/strong> over canceling its drone show. The show, which was scheduled for halftime and the third\/fourth quarter break, did not occur.<\/p>\n<p>The show did not occur due to how bad things got for <strong>LSU<\/strong> in Tiger Stadium. Although it did actually hold an 18-14 lead at the break, <strong>Texas A&amp;M<\/strong> scored 35 unanswered points to take a 49-18 lead with 6:12 remaining in regulation. Aggie quarterback <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/marcel-reed-82333\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Marcel Reed<\/a><\/strong> started the run with a five-yard rushing touchdown, and was followed by a KC Concepcion 79-yard punt return just minutes later.<\/p>\n<p>Reed then hit running back <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/jamarion-morrow-158409\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jamarion Morrow<\/a><\/strong> in stride for a 24-yard score to stretch the lead to 17. Two more rushing touchdowns later and <strong>Texas A&amp;M<\/strong> had cleared out almost every single <strong>LSU<\/strong> fan remaining in the stadium.<\/p>\n<p>Loss to Texas A&amp;M turns up the heat on LSU\u2019s Brian Kelly<\/p>\n<p>The loss dropped <strong>LSU<\/strong> to 5-3 on the season. With frustration building around head coach <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/rivals\/coach\/brian-kelly-132649\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Brian Kelly<\/a><\/strong> this week, many believed that this was a \u2018must-win\u2019 game for the Tigers. They were however humiliated at home, which led to \u2018fire <strong>Brian Kelly<\/strong>\u2018 chants from the remaining <strong>LSU<\/strong> fans.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s coaching for his job this season,\u201d College Football analyst <a href=\"https:\/\/www.on3.com\/college\/lsu-tigers\/news\/brian-kelly-hot-seat-assessing-how-crucial-texas-am-game-is-for-lsu-head-coach\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Josh Pate said earlier this week.<\/a>\u00a0\u201cI wouldn\u2019t circle this weekend. I would say this weekend, if they don\u2019t get the job done, there\u2019s a meeting in that building Sunday where some changes on his offensive staff are demanded. Then, the question becomes, does <strong>Brian Kelly<\/strong> look around and say, \u2018I don\u2019t have to answer to anyone. This is my offensive staff. You do what you feel like you need to do.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>LSU<\/strong> was outgained 426-278 and recorded six less first downs than <strong>Texas A&amp;M<\/strong>.
