This one is Lincoln Avenue. Keith is looking for an exact location in terms of blocks and cross streets and an orientation of the photo.

There’s not a vehicle in sight, and not much of a street, either. The houses appear to be well-built and may have stood the test of time.

Think you know something? Keith’s email is keith106@rcn.com. If I am correct, this image shows part of the block that runs from Chester Pike to Pusey Ave. The houses showing on the right were numbered 19 thru 35. Even in the ’50s most of the front porches were enclosed.” — Ronald Schwandt

• “That picture of Cherry St. in Collingdale is taken roughly at 16 Cherry St. looking North, Northwest. The cross street at the bottom is Pusey St. That strip of twin homes on the right are from 35 Cherry St. rt 7 Cherry St. with the first two homes on the right likely being 19 & 7 Cherry St.” — James Buttery

• “The view is looking NNW on the unit block of Cherry St. in Collingdale from Chester Pike towards Pusey Ave. The addresses of the twin home in the foreground are 7 & 19 Cherry St.” — Dennis & Jack McKnight

• “We lived on Cherry St in the ’70s and early ’80s. The street was two blocks long bordered by MacDade Blvd. on one end and Chester Pike on the other. The 2 blocks were intersected by Pusey Ave. When we moved in, most of the porches were enclosed.
