{"id":334266,"date":"2025-10-26T17:10:16","date_gmt":"2025-10-26T17:10:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/334266\/"},"modified":"2025-10-26T17:10:16","modified_gmt":"2025-10-26T17:10:16","slug":"new-york-jets-special-olympics-new-york-and-moodys-expand-nyc-high-school-unified-flag-football-league","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/334266\/","title":{"rendered":"NEW YORK JETS, SPECIAL OLYMPICS NEW YORK, AND MOODY\u2019S EXPAND NYC HIGH SCHOOL UNIFIED FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>New York Jets<\/strong>, in partnership with <strong>Special Olympics New York<\/strong> and <strong>Moody\u2019s<\/strong>, announced the expansion of their <strong>High School Unified Flag Football League<\/strong> in New York City.<\/p>\n<p>The 2025 season kicked off with an exciting <strong>clinic on October 14<\/strong>, bringing together athletes with and without intellectual disabilities to compete and celebrate the spirit of inclusion, sportsmanship, and teamwork.<\/p>\n<p>What Is Unified Sports?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Special Olympics Unified Sports\u00ae<\/strong> brings individuals with and without intellectual disabilities, known as <strong>Unified partners<\/strong>, together on the same team.<\/p>\n<p>Dedicated to promoting <strong>social inclusion<\/strong> through shared training and competitive experiences, Unified Sports is inspired by a simple principle:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u201cTraining together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Growth and Impact<\/p>\n<p>The league has grown from <strong>8 teams in 2024<\/strong> to <strong>12 teams in 2025<\/strong>.
