Aaron Rodgers is back. Sort of. Two years after he and the Green Bay Packers finally broke up, the star quarterback is up against his old team for the first time in his storied NFL career. Except he’s got the home-field advantage wearing black and gold, with the Pittsburgh Steelers entering Sunday night’s prime-time showdown as home underdogs.<\/p>\n
The Steelers certainly had the advantage to start the contest, too, entering halftime with a 16-7 edge after a crisp opening two quarters from Rodgers. The grizzled quarterback completed passes to nine different receivers, including a slant touchdown to DK Metcalf. He also got help from Mike Tomlin’s defense, which prevented Jordan Love and Co. from converting a third down in the opening half.<\/p>\n
