JACKSONVILLE, Fla.<\/strong> \u2013 Three separate shootings across Jacksonville within a 12-hour span this weekend left four people injured, with one victim suffering life-threatening injuries, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

The string of violence began Saturday evening at the Red Roof Inn on Harts Road. <\/p>\n

Around 5:30 p.m., a man in his early 20s was shot in the right shin near the motel\u2019s front entrance, according to police.<\/p>\n

Investigators said the suspect sped away in a white SUV, which was later found abandoned nearby.<\/p>\n

Officers recovered approximately eight shell casings from the scene. The victim remains in stable condition.<\/p>\n

Less than 90 minutes later, at 6:48 p.m., officers responded to another shooting on Evergreen Avenue in the Phoenix neighborhood. <\/p>\n

The victim, who sustained a gunshot wound to his right leg, told police he was walking in when he heard a loud pop and realized he had been shot.<\/p>\n

JSO said they were unable to locate a crime scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital in stable condition.<\/p>\n

The most serious incident occurred early Sunday morning outside a bar on Edgewood Avenue South. <\/p>\n

According to JSO, officers responded around 3:40 a.m. to find a man in his 30s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. <\/p>\n

They said the victim was rushed to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. A second victim, also in his 30s, later transported himself to a hospital and was reported in stable condition. <\/p>\n

Investigators said a large crowd had gathered in the parking lot after the bar\u2019s closing when an altercation led to the shooting. <\/p>\n

Law enforcement said the crowd dispersed immediately after the incident, leaving police without witnesses.<\/p>\n
