In another act of fan expression, a #TheHuntForBenSolo advertisement has been added to a billboard in New York City\u2019s Times Square.<\/p>\n

Following Adam Driver\u2019s reveal of his cancelled Ben Solo movie via a recent Associated Press interview, Star Wars fans flew a \u201cSave #TheHuntForBenSolo\u201d banner<\/a> over Disney Studios\u00a0in Burbank to express their anger. Now, a Star Wars-inspired billboard has taken over Times Square with another message.<\/p>\n

The sign resembles a galaxy with blue text, a look made iconic by the film franchise. It reads: <\/p>\n

For Adam. No one\u2019s ever really gone. Hope lives. Ben is alive! #THBS<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

According to Collider<\/a>, the billboard was purchased by\u00a0B.D. Neagle, who had this to say about the movement:<\/p>\n

I\u2019m just a fan who thought Ben\u2019s story wasn\u2019t finished. I wanted to do what I could to support the fandom and everyone attached to\u00a0\u201cThe Hunt for Ben Solo.\u201d The intent was to show Disney this is what fans actually want. \u2018No one\u2019s ever really gone\u2019 I believe, says it all. If they could bring back Palpatine with one line, there are plenty of ways Ben could return that already fit into Star Wars lore.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

\"Kylo<\/a><\/p>\n

The movement began once Driver<\/a> called the film\u2019s script \u201cone of the coolest (expletive) scripts I had ever been a part of.\u201d After getting Lucasfilm on board, they pitched the project to Disney \u2014 only to have it rejected by Bob Iger.<\/p>\n

Some fans think that \u201cDriver intentionally revealed the plans for\u00a0The Hunt for Ben Solo\u00a0to galvanize the passionate fan base, and to put pressure on Disney to move forward with the project.\u201d Ryan Reynolds leaked test footage in a similar move to convince 20th Century Fox\u00a0to move forward with Deadpool.<\/p>\n
