Sydney Sweeney<\/a> is now a card-carrying member of the Bitchy Little Bob Club. On Saturday, the actress debuted a shorter and lighter hairstyle at the Los Angeles premiere of Christy<\/a>, a biopic focused on the iconic female boxer Christy Martin, which Sweeney stars in. She chose to show off her blonde bob while wearing a light pink lacey Miu Miu gown on the red carpet.<\/p>\n

\u201cSydney was looking for a change and wanted to have a big hair moment for the red carpet to support her new movie, Christy,\u201d her colorist Jacob Schwartz told Vogue<\/a>. \u201cIt felt like the perfect time to do something bold.\u201d Apparently, \u201cbold\u201d means chopping off a few inches and going from \u201csuede blonde\u201d to a new shade of \u201cicy blonde.\u201d The more you know!<\/p>\n

So, what does Sweeney\u2019s new hair mean? I\u2019m thinking the transformation has something to do with the third and final season of Euphoria \u2014 there have been rumors of a time jump, and this may be a way to make her chaotic character Cassie appear more mature. Sweeney told Variety<\/a> she wraps filming this week, so we may very well see this hairstyle on the small screen next spring when the show is slated to air. By then, I think we\u2019ll have already reached peak<\/a> bob<\/a>.<\/p>\n
