Yes, of course he\u2019s acting naturally. In anticipation of the Beatles Extended Universe arriving in theaters as a four-part biopic series<\/a>, Ringo Starr is keeping a steady beat with its progress. The New York Times reports<\/a> that Starr, who will be played by Barry Keoghan in the films, worked with director Sam Mendes<\/a> for two days to thoroughly go over the script of the drummer\u2019s individual movie. Starr \u201coffered extensive notes\u201d to ensure it was more accurately reflective of his early life, particularly with regard to his family and first marriage to Maureen Starkey Tigrett. \u201cHe had a writer \u2014 very good writer, great reputation, and he wrote it great, but it had nothing to do with Maureen and I,\u201d Starr explained. \u201cThat\u2019s not how we were. I\u2019d say, \u2018We would never do that.\u2019\u201d The new edits satisfied Starr, but, like us, he remains a bit skeptical that the quartet of films will be completed for an early-2028 release. \u201cBut he\u2019ll do what he\u2019s doing,\u201d he added of Mendes, \u201cand I\u2019ll send him peace and love.\u201d Starr previously broke the news of Keoghan\u2019s casting, with the actor later revealing<\/a> that the duo had an \u201cabsolutely lovely\u201d meeting at Starr\u2019s home to learn more about each other.
