{"id":335839,"date":"2025-10-27T10:42:22","date_gmt":"2025-10-27T10:42:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/335839\/"},"modified":"2025-10-27T10:42:22","modified_gmt":"2025-10-27T10:42:22","slug":"pinyon-mediterranean-restaurant-opening-in-scottsdale","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/335839\/","title":{"rendered":"Pinyon Mediterranean restaurant opening in Scottsdale"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>PHOENIX \u2014 A new restaurant celebrating coastal Mediterranean cuisine will open on Wednesday in Old Town Scottsdale.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/pinyonrestaurant.com\/\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Pinyon<\/a> is the latest concept by Hi Noon Hospitality, the team behind Buck &amp; Rider and Ingo\u2019s Tasty Food.<\/p>\n<p>The menu features flavors from more than 20 countries and has items like fresh crudos, house-made pita, vibrant seasonal salads, pasta, dips, spreads and dishes straight from an open flame grill.<\/p>\n<p>The origin story of the <a href=\"https:\/\/ktar.com\/arizona-restaurant-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">restaurant<\/a> revolves around travel and connections, according to Hi Noon CEO and Founder Adam Strecker.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter embarking on an epic journey through the Mediterranean Basin, immersing ourselves in its timeless recipes, coastal traditions and vibrant food culture, the idea of Pinyon came to fruition,\u201d Strecker said. \u201cFrom the coasts of Spain and Italy to the markets of Morocco and Turkey, we discovered a kind of magic \u2013 one that we\u2019ve woven into every detail, so guests will feel it from the moment they walk through our doors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Even the centerpiece of the kitchen, a Josper Grill hand-forged and imported from Barcelona, is Mediterranean authentic and recognized by chefs around the world for its capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>Decorations and designs inside the restaurant add to the European character of the experience.<\/p>\n<p>Stone walls and checkered marble flooring cut in Portugal add to the ambiance, along with an indoor-outdoor bar for evening service.<\/p>\n<p>Artwork is supplied from local oil painter Mike Carson and New Orleans artist Rami Sharkey.<\/p>\n<p>For those who want an exclusive first glimpse of Pinyon \u2013 and a deal \u2013 a limited amount of people can visit ahead of the opening through Oct. 28 and receive a $20 gift card with the purchase of a $100 gift card.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"twitter-follow-button\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tomkuebelaz\" data-show-count=\"false\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Follow @tomkuebelaz<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We want to hear from you.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0px;\">Have a story idea or tip?
