{"id":335998,"date":"2025-10-27T12:19:16","date_gmt":"2025-10-27T12:19:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/335998\/"},"modified":"2025-10-27T12:19:16","modified_gmt":"2025-10-27T12:19:16","slug":"naomi-osaka-sends-message-to-her-coach-after-he-announces-he-will-be-leaving-her-team","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/335998\/","title":{"rendered":"Naomi Osaka sends message to her coach after he announces he will be leaving her team"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>   <a class=\"fw\" href=\"https:\/\/profile.google.com\/cp\/Cg0vZy8xMXlnMTNoeXE4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"28\" height=\"28\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/wp-content\/themes\/grv-media\/img\/google-discover.svg\" alt=\"\"\/> Follow us on Google Discover <\/a>  <\/p>\n<p><strong>Naomi Osaka has made another change to her coaching team after calling an end to her 2025 season.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/patrick-mouratoglou-reveals-what-ruined-his-player-coach-relationship-with-naomi-osaka\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Osaka split with main coach Patrick Mouratoglou<\/a> after <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/wimbledon\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Wimbledon<\/a> this year, with the pair working together for around 10 months.<\/p>\n<p>It was not long before the former world number one announced his replacement, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/tomasz-wiktorowski-has-already-done-something-with-naomi-osaka-in-one-week-he-couldnt-do-with-iga-swiatek-in-four-years\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Osaka bringing in Iga Swiatek\u2019s former coach, Tomasz Wiktorowski<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>This change has seen some improved results for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/news\/naomi-osaka-confirms-if-shell-play-her-next-match-in-japan-after-injuring-herself-in-match-with-suzan-lamens\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Osaka, before she suffered a leg injury<\/a> that ended her season at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/japan-open\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Japan Open<\/a>, and it has now been confirmed that another member of her team will leave.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" alt=\"Patrick Mouratoglou watches Naomi Osaka of Japan during the first round on Day 2 of the Bad Homburg Open powered by Solarwatt.\" width=\"1024\" height=\"556\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.europesays.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/GettyImages-2220999941-1024x556.jpg\" \/>Photo by Robert Prange\/Getty ImagesNaomi Osaka sends message to fitness coach after parting ways<\/p>\n<p>When <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/patrick-mouratoglou\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mouratoglou<\/a> joined <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetennisgazette.com\/tag\/naomi-osaka\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Osaka\u2019s<\/a> team in September last year, he also brought along a strength and conditioning coach from his academy in the form of Guillaume Brunoir.<\/p>\n<p>Despite Osaka parting ways with Mouratoglou back in July, Brunoir has remained on her team ever since, but it appears that they have now split.<\/p>\n<p>Brunoir confirmed this in a post on Instagram, writing, \u201cSome chapters are meant to leave a mark. From Los Angeles to Osaka, through every court, every session, every challenge. Quiet focus, fleeting moments, unseen efforts, and the laughter we shared along the way.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cProud of the work, the growth, and the bond built during these months. Thankful for the path we shared. Ready for the next move.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It appears that there are certainly no hard feelings between the pair, as Osaka also wished Brunoir well for his next career move.<\/p>\n<p>Osaka commented, \u201cThanks for everything.
