They found a woman with a gunshot wound, and the Phoenix Fire Department took her to the hospital in \u201cextremely critical condition.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Police initially asked residents to remain inside their apartments as they searched the area for a shooter. By about 7:30 p.m., officers had cleared the scene and lifted the shelter-in-place order.<\/p>\n<p>The woman later died from her injuries, and officers are still searching for the shooter.
