Steam is currently running its \u201cSteam Scream IV\u201d sale and while it\u2019s a little light on big AAA headliners (don\u2019t expect any Resident Evils on sale, or the recent Silent Hill f<\/a>), there\u2019s a solid chunk of older titles you might\u2019ve missed, as well as dozens of cool indie games available for pocket change (actual pocket change, mind you).<\/p>\n

The criteria for the \u201cScream\u201d sale is also quite wide, so not all of these are horror games strictly speaking, but hey, a discount\u2019s a discount.<\/p>\n

Some recent spooky(ish) games you probably forgot about <\/p>\n

Okay, maybe you didn\u2019t forget about these, but then why aren\u2019t they in your library? Hmm? As I was perusing the latest Steam sale, I noticed more than a few recent games from a few years ago that were either a hot topic for about a week, or never hit critical mass.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Sick, unmissable indie titles Dirt cheap titles that you somehow haven\u2019t purchased yet <\/p>\n

There are only 24 hours in a day. You can\u2019t possibly play them all, but if for some reason you missed out on 2014\u2019s The Evil Within<\/a> or its sequel. The Evil Within 2<\/a>, they\u2019re both on sale. The first Alan Wake<\/a> is a mere $1.50 right now, and its spin-off, American Nightmare, is even cheaper<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This Steam sale is massive<\/a>, so there\u2019s much more worth digging through.
